Originally from Dunedin, Connie—the creative force behind Saturday Ceramics—moved to Queenstown nine years ago and took a pottery course, where she instantly fell in love with the craft. She now creates beautiful handmade homewares, including mugs, bowls, and plates, designed for everyday enjoyment.

With a Master of Fine Arts degree in Conservation and Restoration from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland, she combines her expertise in art conservation with creative design. Kasia collaborates with businesses and private clients to bring unique visions to life, offering services that range from branding and interior decoration to personalized art projects. She also leads workshops, sharing her passion for art and creativity with the community.

The Kukupa Collective is a whānau-led studio, created by a mother and daughter duo, celebrating the beauty of toi through art and making. Showcasing a mix of oil painting alongside both contemporary and traditional Māori weaving, the space brings together creativity, culture and storytelling.
